Paris Marathon 2018: Running in a snow storm

So massive snow storm today before, during, and after the run. In the unlaced sections, feet were completely covered in snow.

We ran 8 km against the wind, choking on snow, having our eyelids, eyebrows, and hair covered with snow. Stopped for a quick gel intake and memorable picture of beat faces.

On the 8 km back, Farid managed to fall… not that challenging. A wipeout for the entertainment of other residents of Toronto.

In total, 16 km, 1 gel, average pace of 5:01 min/km (snow limited), and a total time of 1 hour and 20 min.

Time to stuff our faces with lost calories.
